Windsor High Chair,
Dublin Core
Title
Windsor High Chair,
Description
This red Windsor High Chair is newly constructed to represent a child in this household. The style and turning do not indicate a particular region and therefore, the form is important. This style may be called a bow-back form which could date to about 1790-1800. The front to rear stretcher in the middle is an unusual design. 4/2022: "C RC-23" in white on bottom of chair rung. Wood painted dark red, curved back with rump. Foot rest.
