Description

This cherry candle stand, circa 1810-1820, is typical of early Empire style and probably originates from Tennessee. It has early nineteenth century screws under the top. The form is very light and represents the period well. Simple vase turned stem with nicely shaped legs with Hepplewhite feet. Two stained places on top of table.
