Description

These Reproduction , comb-back Windsor chairs were made by "Virginia craftsmen of Harrisonburg, Virginia. The style of these chairs is circa 1770-1790 Philadelphia. They are well made and have a "mustard paint". Windsor chairs were produced [producted] in New England and the middle Atlantic states. In the South, newspaper advertisements demonstrate that Philadelphia first and later (1790-1810) transcoastal shipment of Windsors dominated the Southern markets.
